WEBELOS OUTDOOR ADVENTURE WEEKEND
The 2022 Webelos Outdoor Adventure Weekend is Black Feather & Centennial’s premier fall camping event for Webelos & Arrow of Light.
Daytime Troop-sponsored events will feature some advancement opportunities. Saturday evening will include a Campfire and cracker barrel, and Webelos & their parent/guardian can spend the night under the stars.

STAFFING WEBELOS WEEKEND
Thank you for your interest in helping the Black Feather and Centennial Districts’ Webelos Outdoor Adventure Weekend!
We will be holding nine different Webelos Core and/or Elective Adventures on Saturday, October 8, 2022, from 9 AM – 11:30 AM and then again from 1 PM – 3:30 PM.
We are looking for UNITS (Troops and/or Crews) to work as a team and assume the responsibility for providing all the necessary equipment, set up, and running of one or more of the following Webelos Core or Elective Adventures:
• Cast Iron Chef (1)
• Duty to God & You (1)
• First Responder (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6)
• Stronger, Faster, Higher (1 & 2)
• Walkabout (3 & 5)
• Aware & Care (1 & 2)
• Castaway (2 a, b, c & d)
• Into the Woods (1, 2, & 6)
• Whittling Chip (1, 2, 4 & 5)
Additionally, we need multiple ADULT RANGE MASTERS to run our archery and bb gun ranges.
There is NO CHARGE to STAFF this event; however, we ask that ALL the adventures are staffed by only two adults and two youth teams (4 in total) to help manage our costs.
Please note that Units may elect to run more than one Adventure. However, if you plan to bring more than four (youth & adults) per adventure, then we’ll need to charge $15/person for the additional staff to help cover foods costs. That is because we will provide our STAFF members with lunch, dinner, cracker barrel & breakfast, as well as we are required to pay a day use fee to all attendees.
All STAFF members are required to bring their Part A & Part B of their medical forms. Adults (18 ) require a copy of their YPT Certificate. We ask that the staff arrive between 7:00 - 8:00 AM to check-in and begin setting up (if necessary) their Adventure before the Webelos arrive.
There will be a designated staff area and we will need to follow YPT guidelines. No CABINS are available for sleeping; therefore, please bring your camping gear, i.e., tents, sleeping bag, etc. too! For example, the youth must be within two-years in age and cannot sleep in the same tent as the adult.
