2023 Black Feather Awards

Black Feather District Award Nomination
Registration for Adult Recognition is open for nominations and submissions to recognize our volunteers. Please see the attached awards descriptions document for requirements and eligibility HERE.

The awards available for the Unit level:
Outstanding Scouter: There is a cost of $12 and they will receive an "Outstanding Scouter" name tag.
Footsteps of the Founder: There is a cost of $5 and they will receive a hiking boot lapel pin.

The nominated awards available for contributions at the District level:
Spirit of Polaris
Noble Sage

Finally, the Community Award is an award to honor contributors to the Black Feather District and scouting who are not registered. 

Awards Nominations will be available until April 2nd 2023.

The awards will be presented and the Black Feather District Recognition Dinner or afterward. The District Awards Dinner will be a separate registration and cost. 

The District Awards Dinner is scheduled for May 13, 2023. Award Recipients, Unit Leaders, and District Leaders are invited to register for the Awards Dinner. This year, the Eagle Scouts for 2022 will also be recognized a the Awards Dinner. Eagle Scouts and their families will be invited to register. Registration for the District Awards Dinner will be available mid March.
